Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center
With his plays The Glass Menagerie (1945) and A Streetcar Named Desire (1947), Tennessee Williams (1911-1983) reinvented the theater. This exhibition draws on the Ransom Center’s extensive collection of his manuscripts, correspondence, photographs, and artwork to explore the idea, act, and process of artistic creation.
- Nature Nights- Stargazing at the Wildflower Center

Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center, 4801 La Crosse Avenue, Austin, Texas
A night of celestial discovery on Friday, March 4 from 6 to 9 p.m. at our first monthly Nature Night of the Spring season. Experts from the McDonald Observatory, Austin Planetarium, Austin Astronomical Society and other organizations will talk about the cosmos above our Texas Hill Country. Field telescope viewing and take-home astronomy crafts will be on hand during the event. On April 1, Nature Night will focus on wildflowers and pollinators. Admission, $1 (free for Wildflower Center members.)
